Esserman-Levin Fund for Social Justice Scholarship
Created in 1993 to honor former Rome, Georgia residents Rose Esserman Levin and Jule Gordon Levin for their roles as civil rights activists. The $500 scholarship is for a student who has demonstrated through his or her actions, a commitment to human rights and social justice. Must be a resident of Floyd County; must at the time of decision anticipate successful completion of one year of college and be in good academic standing as a full time student at GHC; and, must demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA and GHC Financial Aid Office. At the time of award, the recipient shall be entering their sophomore year and have a minimum GPA of 2.75.
