Jim Cook Study Abroad Scholarship

The scholarship was established by Dr. James Cook, retired GHC professor of history emeritus, who was a strong advocate and supporter of study abroad. The scholarships are for a minimum of $500 up to a maximum of $1,000, but will not cover more than 50% of the cost of the study abroad program. Applicants must be currently enrolled GHC students. The scholarships are for summer semester GHC sponsored study abroad programs to Italy and Costa Rica and programs sponsored by the European Council of the University System of Georgia with study abroad to Germany, Scotland, England, Spain, France, Russia, Ireland. Students must be registered for a program prior to award disbursement.
