Bartow County Service Scholarship
Created to promote and reward community service, the scholarship covers tuition and fees for one academic year (fall and spring). Applicants must be a permanent resident of Bartow County; must be attending GHC or have been accepted for the upcoming fall semester; and, must demonstrate financial need. The recipient must perform 40 hours of community service for a Bartow County non-profit organization such as, but not limited to: Boys and Girls Club, Boy and Girl Scout Troupes; Salvation Army, Cartersville-Bartow Chamber of Commerce, food pantries, etc. during each semester covered by the scholarship. The recipient must remain in good academic standing throughout the award period. A written service report of community service hours performed is required at the end of each semester.
