Bartow County Service Scholarship – deadline to apply April 30, 2014
This scholarship is intended to promote and reward community service. The scholarship provides full tuition for one academic year (fall and spring semesters). The recipient must perform 40 hours of community service each semester for a non-profit organization in Bartow County which will be documented by their charity supervisor.
Recipient MUST be a permanent resident of Bartow County
- Demonstrated financial need
- Recipient must be attending Georgia Highlands College or have been accepted for the upcoming fall semester.
Georgia Highlands College Scholarship Application
- One completed professional or academic recommendation form
- Submit a personal statement describing community service projects your have/are involved with and how/where you will perform 40 hours of community service each semester. Format your response
with 1 inch margins, double spaced and 12 pt. font. On the
top three lines include your name, scholarship name and the date.
